SYSTEM Sounds

Interactive Sound Wall

We create interactive experiences that allow people to explore data through sound and motion.

Chandra Sound Wall

We've created two sound wall exhibits for the Chanrda X-Ray center - one focused on the Cas A supernova remannt and the other on the iconic Pillars of Creation. In each piece, participants used sound and motion to explore the different elements and structures present in the images. These exhibits premiered at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian (DC) for their Solstice 2026 event.

JPL Sound Wall

We have also created several interactive exhibits for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The first piece premiered at NASA's CreateSpace at SXSW 2025 and was focused on ocean data captured by NASA's ECCO model and from GHRSST. Over 20 thousand people passed through the exhibit over 2 days and learned about temperature gradients and current rings in a way they'll never forget.
